Siddhesh earned his degree in Electronic Engineering but quickly realized his true passion wasn't in circuits or coding, it was in art. While scrolling through social media, when he stumbled upon an ad for Aliens Tattoo, he knew at that moment, everything would change.
"That ad sparked something in me," Siddhesh recalls, "I knew instantly, this is my calling."
Siddhesh enrolled in Aliens School of Tattoo Art's 3-month Complete Course. Already a professional in sketching, his challenge was to take his art from paper to skin. But that wasn't all! Working full-time would have been difficult, and yet he didn’t quit his job while taking up this course. He worked from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., then rushed to the school, pushing through until 11 p.m. every single day.
"Honestly, there were no rest days, just my spark to follow my dream," Siddhesh highlights.
His passion pushed him through, with strong support from his family. His mother even woke up at 3 a.m. to prepare fresh meals so he could fuel his long schedule.
“I think I knew right then that my son's spark wasn't just in his art, it was in his will to turn his dream into reality. That kept me standing by his side, as his pillar, through every long day and sleepless night.”
Despite the challenges, Siddhesh's talent flourished. His work became so remarkable that, within the same year, he secured a full-time position as a tattoo artist at Aliens Tattoo. Since then, he has traveled across India, tattooing in cities far and wide.
"In most jobs, you clock in and out without leaving a legacy. In tattoo art, each piece you create is permanent, a part of someone’s life forever."
His designs not only caught the eyes of tattoo enthusiasts but also earned him recognition on India’s biggest stages. At the Heartwork Tattoo Festival, India’s premier tattoo convention, Siddhesh competed in the neo-traditional category for the first time in 2019 and won! The following year at the Kula Tattoo Convention, he bagged both 1st and 2nd place for two of his extraordinary masterpieces.
Not only that, but his dedication and skill led him to a big financial breakthrough! Siddhesh now earns over 22 LPA as a leading tattoo artist in India. He even bought his own house within his first five years as a tattoo artist! What started as a passion has turned into a highly successful career, far exceeding the traditional earning potential of most graduates.
"Inking celebrities like Tilak Varma and winning multiple awards wasn't something I had ever imagined when I first started. But tattooing gave me the opportunity to create a legacy and live a life beyond what I thought possible," Siddhesh shares.
Siddhesh is now a Senior Artist Manager at Aliens Tattoo, overseeing projects, mentoring budding artists, and continuing to push the boundaries of his craft.
“In the corporate world, you're often working toward someone else’s goals. In tattooing, you're creating your own success story, where your hard work directly translates into recognition and rewards.”
